Complete 54K (33.5 miles) or 670 minutes of any activity at any location and any pace you choose! Not a runner? That's OK! A mile/minute converter is available to earn miles for following a workout video, neighborhood walks, kayaking, fishing, or just simply being active and getting rewarded for it with a medal!

RULES ARE SIMPLE:

  • Sign up below (must sign up each person to receive a medal) for $20/person by July 2 at 8AM
  • Run, walk, fish, jump rope, or lift weights at your own pace
  • Using the log below, keep track of your miles/minutes
  • Complete 33.5 miles by July 19
  • Submit completed mile logs to bfranseen@fortatkinsonwi.net or mail to: 30 North Water Street West, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538 by July 22
  • Each participant who completed the 54K by July 19 will receive a medal
  • Medals will be available after July 22 to all completed 54K challengers no matter when the form is turned in. You'll be emailed when the medals are available

What is a VIRTUAL challenge? This challenge can be completed anywhere on your own time. Have a relative or a friend in a different state? Each person sign up and complete the challenge together! Shipping is available for an additional $7 at registration (only pay once per family).

Buddy/Athlete Opportunity: If you'd like to complete 54K for someone who is physically unable to complete it themselves, please indicate you'd like to be an "athlete" during registration. If you'd like to sign up for a "buddy", please do so on the Google Form HERE. Once a buddy and an athlete have indicated they'd like to participate in this option, matches will be emailed. Communication between the two are required throughout to make this a fun and enjoyable experience for all! Buddies will be prompted to register and submit payment once matched.

Mile/Minute Converter: Not a runner? That's OK! Using our mile/minute converter, you can do any activity and it still counts! 15 minutes = .75 miles (example: 30 min=1.5 miles / 45 min=2.25 miles / 60 min=3 miles).
